Cha Am
  
Cha Am is one of the district in Southern part of Phetchaburi province and just 773 kliometres Southwest of Bangkok. It is rathere popular beachside resort hotel and public beach in Thailand and also famous for its beach front which is home to many high rise beach resorts. Cha Am houses the only American university in Thailand. Webster University has nearly 200 students from numerous international countries.
Cha-am was originally a small fishing village. After a royal palace was built near Hua Hin in the reign of King Rama VI, the land was occupied by the royal family and the elite. The water's the place to be for those full of energy, enjoying water skiing, banana boats and jet skis or riding a bicycle along the 6-km road running in parallel with the beach is a charming activity of Cha-am. Sea food, Ice cold beer, Snack, Inexpensive accommodation adds to the attraction.Today, it is very popular among Thais who love superb seafood and comfortable hotel or bungalow accommodation.
