Bangkok’s Food Festival in Chinatown or Yaowarat is held on end of September of the year at Ratchwong road and designed to rekindle the interest of both local and international visitors in the old quarter of Bangkok.
In Chinatown, the festival becomes the sizzling and crackling heart of an exuberant food festival. It is a bustling and crowded area where you can enjoy delicious sights and absorb the smell and taste of assorted traditional Thai and Chinese dishes. It is certainly cultural shows and musical entertainment are featured in the food celebration. Variety of stalls offer other famous dishes such as glutinous rice with filling, double-boiled clear soups, rice noodles, steamed rice-noodle rolls with various filling and old fashioned coffee. There are also a culinary and gourmet competition so participants will be voting on the best of Yawaral’s delicacies.
