Motor-cycles can be hired farily cheaply and are the most popular mode of transport in Pattaya.  The tariff is usually between B 30-60 for a short trips in the city of Pattaya. You can see motorbikes everywhere in Pattaya as this is one of most convenient transportation and not expensive.
