Wat Pradoem

The temple is an old semi-abandoned temple and located approximately 12 kilometers on Route 4169 or 1 kilometer from Namuang falls. It is a monastery built at the end of Ayutthaya Era about 250 years ago. Wat Pradoem is believed to be the first temple on Koh Samui. At present, it is where an ancient wooden scripture hall used in storing the beautiful decorated Buddhist scriptures is located.
