Walking Street

Walking street is one of most famous night market and located in the city of Chiang Mai.  Along the street, it is closed to traffic and a festive vib of shopping, eating, drinking and hanging out with your family or friends are what draws the crowds to these events.

There are some interesting shopping places in the street such as Kad Sum Murd, the Wisdom of Lanna Arts and cradts men, Wualai and Ratchdamnoen.  The main street is open everyday from 5 pm till mid night.  It is believed tha you could spend your time for shopping in the night market without any exhaustion.  Many people say the street is rather perfect place for purchasing local sourvenirs, wood carvings, bamboo products and drawing pictures on cloth and creating dolls makde from cloths.  There are variety of cheap and cheerful products here offering only for tourist and visitors.
