Doi Inthanon
Highest mountain in Thailand, beautiful scenic tour with stunning waterfalls.
This is one of the most popular Chiang Mai day tours. A visit to Doi Inthanon National Park is on our list of 'Must See' recommended activities. Only 2 hours from Chiang Mai this is a mountain oasis where you will see mountain top temples, stunning waterfalls, hill tribe village and much more
The day begins with a scenic drive along the mountains south of Chiang Mai. Upon reaching Doi Inthanon our guide will take you into the park where you will visit 3 beautiful waterfalls and can hike on the top of the mountain, the highest point in Thailand. You will also visit the beautiful temples, built facing each other amidst mountain top gardens. This tour provides lots of flexibility for you and your group to walk around the various sights and even do some bird watching, as this is a world renowned birding zone.
You will be shown through the park by one of our licenced professional guides, english speaking of course. During the tour we make extra effort to show you points of interest off of the beaten path and hope to pass on a bit of information about Thai culture as you tour this national treasure. It is noted that you should to bring jacket, swimming suite, towel and t-shirt.
