Pattani

Pattani is an old town with a hybrid culture - established through a splendid mix of Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic beliefs together with Chinese influence - has been in existence on the Malay Peninsula for many generations.
 
Pattani, some 100 kilometres further south, has Thailand's most beautiful mosque and innumerable fishing communities with handpainted, lavishly decorated boats.

Pattani is also rich in natural resources, which earns itself the title "a city of outstanding beaches and waterfalls" The visitors are drawn to this province not only because of its bountiful nature but also due to its "budu" - the main ingredient in Southern-style vegetable and fruit salad.
